Kolkata: Most of the city private schools will announce a cost increase from April 2022.
HC orders on Friday allow school to stop the ongoing concessions from March 15 and start again.
It has triggered a private school, which said they saw a cost increase after two years.
They have been directed by the court to allow parents to pay 80% of important costs due to financial constraints during a pandemic.
The school said they had maintained costs at the 2019 level because, when the revised 2020 was planned, the pandemic had begun.
The school has also been directed in the order on October 13, 2020, to allow 80% concessions.
Schools say they cannot provide an increase in teachers who collectively take attacks because of this concession.
Many schools said they could not apply the recommendation of the sixth payment commission for their teachers because of the crisis funds.
“This pandemic is not yet good with the rate of inflation.
We have to compete with the default costs despite the concessions.
We also have to overcome price increases.
So after two years we welcome HC orders and while we recognize the children, we will make our revision structure clear.
We saw an increase, “said Major General V n Chaturvedi, spokesman for Birla Middle School and Susila Birla girl school.
The school said they were pleased that HC clarified that during reception after March 2022, only those who could pay the revised fee will be accepted.
“The struggle for one-and-half-year cost was closed and it was a big relief.
Parents need to realize that if they expect their child to study in private schools, they must agree with the structure of his payment.
We will overcome everything with our lawyers,” said Krishna Damani , SOUTH POINT SCHOOL spokesman.
Some schools say even though HC has directed them to notify parents about costs charged to important and not essential heads, no one “insignificant” in what school.
“All of our extra-curricular activities and co-curricular activities have been done online.
How can my brand not important?” Chaturvedi said.
A spokesman for Shri Shikshayatan Braatati Bhattacharya said, “We finally see this year’s cost increase so we can complete the delayed formality that will help improve teaching learning.
We will overcome the percentage of increases with our lawyers by remembering the applicable situation.”
