New Delhi: The alleged creator of the Sulli controversial application, identified as Aumkareshwar Thakur (26), was arrested by the Delhi Police Unit Intelligence Fusion & Strategic PPS (IFSO).
He is an indore resident in Madhya Pradesh.
DCP (Special Cell) KPS Malhotra said Thakur was a web developer and had a scholar in a computer application.
The impulse motif is to make a troll and reflect women after discussing the trade group on Twitter.
ToI first reported on Sunday that the key suspect in this case was arrested from MP.
Sulli’s offer was released at GitHub in July last year, which allowed people to participate in the “auction” online Muslim women.
The Bulli Bai application released in December is similar software.
Cyber Cell has submitted FIR in the Sulli offer case on July 7, 2021 and sent a request to GitHub for user details on the same day.
Reminders were sent a week later.
However, the platform refused to share details and asked the police to come through legal channels.
Police Delhi then began the MLLE procedure and files sent to the Interior Minister’s Union through the Delhi Government House Department.
Furthermore, the MLLE proposal was designed and sent to the US Justice Department.
Thakur lives with his parents and brothers at New York City Township on Indore.
His father is a sales manager with a private company.
The family has planned to celebrate his birthday on January 17.
His father claimed that Thakur was innocent.
His brother works with a leading software consulting company.
“Thakur admitted that he was a member of the trade group on Twitter where the idea of slander and Muslim trolls were divided.
He developed the code in GitHub,” Malhotra said.
Access to the application and GitHub account with all members of the group and Thakur also shared applications on his Twitter account.
Photos of Muslim women uploaded by group members, said a senior officer, who showed that more arrest of possibilities.
Operation in both Sulli and Bicli Bai’s agreement was carried out by two special teams under ACP Raman Lamba.
One team consists of Hansraj Inspector and sub-inspectors of Neeraj and Pawan, while others have Inspector Bhanu Pratap and ASI AJEET.
The team went to Indore on January 8 and took Thakur to be questioned.
The technology gadget was also examined.
During the interrogation, he allegedly claimed to have made the Sulli offer application.
Digital footprints on laptops and the virtual world are being analyzed.
“The defendant was produced in front of the court and was taken to the police detention four days.
Gadget analysis is being carried out to recover code and images related to the Sulli offer application,” DCP said.
