Gurgaon: In an effort to train highway engineers on how to avoid collapsing and other structural failures in various high-speed construction projects, the Academy of Highway Engineers (IAH) on Friday visited a field visit to the road as high as the lower Defense and Dwarka Expressway.
In March this year, the lower construction of the toll road collapsed where three workers suffered injuries.
A similar accident was reported last year in August when a 40-meter range between pillars 10 and 11 of the road less than the construction of 22 km-long road rose down.
During the visit, which was part of the three-day training program held by IAhe, the engineers gained a hang of standard operating procedures (SOP) and safety measures used by construction institutions on two projects, especially after the structural structure of compensation.
