There has been a buzz about Google Pixel phones like never before.
The Sundar Pichai LED company announced that the Pixel 6 cellphone, Pixel 6 will be powered by its own tensor chipset.
A report by Nikkei suggested that Samsung can handle chipset production.
The report said that the Tensor chip was based on the 5nm fabrication process, the same was used by Samsung for the exynos 2100 chip itself.
Even though Google has not revealed who will make a tensor chip, source, according to the Nikkei report, saying that Samsung can handle production.
Both Samsung and Google do not comment on this problem.
However, the report said that very companies in the world have a capacity or track record to manage large chipset orders.
In addition, the possibility of Google can base the tensor chip in the 5nm fabrication process as a pixel 5 runs on the Snapdragon 765g, which is based on the 7nm process.
Having a chipset based on the 5NM process might place it on par with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 – the chipset that is most commonly used on premium Android phones.
Oneplus, Xiaomi and others all have a smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.
Processor Apple has its own A14 bionic chip which is also based on the 5NM process.
In the tensor chipset, Google said that he had designed a silicon chipset making pixels even more capable.
“For example, with Tensor we think of every part of the chip and adjust it to run the Google Computing Photography model.
For users, this means a completely new feature, plus repairs to existing,” said the company.
