Navi Mumbai: days after the body part of an unidentified man was found dumped in Navi Mumbai, the police had identified the victim with the help of tattoos on his chopped arm, and also arrested the defendant for the murder, senior official said on Thursday.
The defendant, Sumitkumar Harishkumar Chouhan (27), has killed Ravindra Ramesh Mandotiya (30) brutally (30), and cut off his body before throwing it a few days ago, he said.
Overcoming a press conference, Police Commissioner Navi Mumbai Bipin Kumar Singh said that on September 12, different parts of the body, including two arms and legs, was found packed in a plastic bag and was dumped in the Vashi APMC Navi Mumbai area.
