Nagpur: The Nagpur University exam section has submitted a complaint application against a Youtuber, who is said to be its student, with the city police after he published multiple video purportedly showing how to cheat during online exams.
As per the press release issued by the university, the videos have created doubts in the minds of gullible students and have the potential to misled them during future exams too.
The Youtuber demonstrates how students can cheat in the online exams.
He claims, through screen recorder, to perform all functions on the computer while appearing his electronics paper during summer exam in April.
However, as per university, this is only mock test which the Youtuber claimed to have hacked.
Officials had claimed that the RTMNU software locks the screen and the examinees get only a prescribed time to complete the paper.
Claims of random monitoring through the app too were made to ensure no unfair means could be used during the first-ever online exam.
During October to November 2020 exams, the NU had faced several glitches in conducting online exams.
Many students have also asked certain questions on bypassing the App restrictions to use search engines to find answers in the comment section of the videos.
The Youtuber also lampoons the NU exam system while explaining how he can perform all functions on his laptop during the exam.
In one video, the Youtuber shows how he has got same questions multiple times and he would get additional four marks.
In another video, it is highlighted how suddenly the lapse time increased by 50 minutes thought the exam was coming to an end.
