New Delhi: In a joint operation with intelligence agencies, Delhi police crime branch was studied to break the espionage racket and arrest suspects from Pokhran Rajasthan.
The suspect has been identified as Habib Khan (34) from Bikaner.
Some Indian army personnel, including one based in Agra, may have confidential information along with Khan and are being investigated based on official secret laws, said Source.
Khan is suspected of continuing information related to sensitive operations, he added.
Khan acts as an intermediary in a large network to receive confidential documents and coordinates from army personnel.
He supplied them to his handler in Pakistan content and also made arrangements for payment to the information provider.
Military intelligence began to track it four months ago after stumbling after suspicious electronic communication and money transactions.
According to the police, Khan has worked as a supplier of vegetables for bases, including the Indira kitchen, a contract for the past two-three years and has access to many fields.
The police from the interstate cell of the crime branch have carried out raids in various places in Jaisalmer, Agra and Pokhran.
Khan accompanied them during this raid.
The police will share details about the operation on Thursday, a senior officer said.
