Chennai: Hindu Department of Religion and Charity (HR and CE) will establish a shopping complex and a dormitory in an area of 50,000 square feet near Park Nehru Metro station at Poonamallee High Road in Chennai.
HR and CE Minister P K Sekar Babu has examined the land parcel owned by the Srinivasa Temple of Perumal in Egmore, press releases here.
The Master Plan will be prepared for this purpose.
Directions are given to the authorities to clear encroachment within a week.
