Chennai: Endowments Religion and Hindu Amal (HR and CE) Minister P K Sekarbu said on Monday that the steps would be taken to take all land encroachment belonging to the ekambareswarar temple (at Kancheepuram) at the Poonamallee High Road in Kilpuk.
The Minister also said that all 140 land land owned by the Temple on the Arterial Road will be used for public use after being taken over by the HR and CE department.
While the 45 reasons belong to the temple have been taken, 95 reasons left from land parcels are still under encroachment.
The combined market value of 95 reasons property is estimated to reach ₹ 475 crores.
A month ago, the HR and CE department had 32 Prime Ground properties, worth ₹ 160 crores in market value, at Poonamallee High Road on Kilpuk.
The property taken is part of 140 parcels of land land from the Temple of Ekambareswarar in Kancheepuram, where HR and CE run the school matriculation.
On Monday, 1970 square feet of commercial space operating in the Temple property (Temple of Ekambareswarar) was taken and destroyed.
Sumber SDM and CE said that the room was used to run four stores.
This development came after direction directions in court to return 1970 square feet to HR and CE, according to press releases.
Reporter briefing on that occasion, the minister said the department had taken around ₹ 600 crore properties of the temple that penetrated (crossing the country).
It will increase to 10 ₹ 00 Crore immediately, he said, adding that all land belonging to HR and CE under encroachment will be taken and returned to their respective temples.
Appeal to penetrate to voluntarily restore crucuted temples, Sekarbabu said that the actions were starting in complaints about Temple soil which violated the runway online and directly.
HR and Commissioner CE J Kumaraguraran and Commissioner with the Kancheepuram region Jayaraman also attended the occasion, a press release was added.
