Chandigarh: Panipat Police have arrested four gangs involved in helping cheating during the Online Air Force Online (IAF) online exam held on Saturday.
The defendant was produced in a local court on Sunday and ordered police detention six days.
Panpat SP Shashank Kumar Sawan said, “After Tip-Off, the CIA-III LED team arrested four private schools.
They helped candidates who emerged in an online inspection of aircraft recruitment, conducted by the central pilot selection council throughout the country on Saturday.
“The team seized cellphones, Bluetooth devices and other gadgets from their ownership, he said.
The four captured have been identified as Jitender Singh Sangwan aka Jeetu from Hisar, Rikki from Baroda in Sonipat, Dharambir from Asan Village in Rohtak and Amit Kumar from Harodi Village in Dadri.
Jitender is a history and previously arrested by Gram Sachive Paper Leak Scam while Ricky runs a coaching center in Rohtak and looks for vulnerable candidates.
The four were arrested from the emergency control room they had prepared in private schools in Panipat.
“We have obtained details of their transactions with applicants, applications or candidate registration numbers,” SP is added.
Anil Chhillar Inspector, who led the attack, said, “The initial investigation had revealed that the defendant took RS 3 lakh from candidates to clear the written examination and 6 lakh Rs for the final selection.
We also tried to find their links and their paper breaker and mode mode “This is for the third time when Haryana-based gangs were found involved in cheating during the IAF exam.
When contacted, the range of IG Karnal Mamta Singh said, “We will learn the details of the other two cases too.
Besides that, it will also find more details about cases, if any, related to Jitender because it is a Mind in the Sachiv gram exam.
