Ambala: Minister of Holyana (CM) Minister Manohar Lal Khattar checked Martyrs (Shaheed Smarakak) Memorial construction work dedicated to Indian Rebellion 1857 against England on Friday.
CM Khattar said that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the 75th year Indian independence was celebrated as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava.
“Saga independence is very long and under Amrit Mahotsava, various programs are being held for adolescents to give them information about the struggle for freedom and martyrs”, said CM Khattar.
Memorial accommodates interpretation centers, open theaters, museums, auditoriums, water bodies, and bridge connecting, warning towers, underground double basement parking, information center, helipad, etc.
CM Khattar said, “Previously, it was believed that the 1857 rebellion began with Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) but in accordance with facts and historians, had been told that the splash of freedom of freedom appeared at Ambala Cantonment 10 hours before Meerut.
Starting from Ambala, sparks spread throughout the country.
Importantly built in the memory of 1857 revolutionary and martyr.
This monument will inspire future generations by providing information about the lives of the revolutionaries and courageous martyrs.
“CM Khattar said that history could be learned from books and stories but with the development of such monuments, people would get the chance to see history directly.
