Chandigarh: The Government Haryana has decided to run a campaign ‘Cyber security awareness’ in all universities and state universities so that students, employees and other people can be saved from ‘cyber fraud’.
Providing information about this, a spokesman for the Department of Higher Education Haryana and the Department of Technical Education Haryana said that on behalf of the Department’s Main Secretary, the registrants of all universities and principals have been directed to create ‘cyber security awareness’ in their respective institutions.
He said that the state government has published a booklet related to the ‘cyber security awareness’ where information has been given about the threat of cyber crime, cyber fraud, cyber abuse, how to prevent virtual worldwide crimes, etc.
They have also been directed to publish booklets in all institutions.
