Hry: villagers survive in drinking water from Raj

Gusainwala (SANSA): Rajasthan, the Wilder Houses of Thar, have provided drinking water to several villages that fall under the Constituency of Ellenabad from the SIsa Haryana District.
ToI visit some of these villages including Gusainwala, Kagdana, Kumharia and Jorkian, which are located on the border of Rajasthan and find that the main concern of people will still get adequate drinking water – almost every household has a ‘underground water tank).
Where they store water purchased from a water tanker from Rajasthan.
However, there are no candidates who fight for Ellenabad Bypoll who have mentioned the basic problem of lack of drinking water in these villages in the promise of their polls.
Drinking water is sold in these villages after the seller gets it from a distributor of Khachwana Air which is located about two kilometers from Haryana’s limit in the SIsa district.
The villagers pay up to Rs 1,000 per tanker.
The villagers must come out around Rs 500 for one water tanker and this number increases to Rs 1,000 at the top of the summer.
“I got married in this village for the past 45 years and the only difference I noticed for the past four and the last half is that we have shifted from drinking water from the village pool for the water purchased water stored in this underground kunder,” Maya Devi said, 62, from Gusainwala Village.
He said that there were no political parties that showed interest in resolving the problem of drinking water and all polls that fought only for “Moochon Ki Hatters” (fighting for their ego) and no one paid attention to these basic problems.
Rajbir Singh Khod, who lives in a small hamlet located in his field in the falling area in the Rajasthan area, just adjacent to Gusainwala Village, said that he had supplied water from Rajasthan to these villages.
“Even though I tried to charge as little as possible from this villagers, because of the high diesel price, the main portion of the number received from the villagers for water sales only.
We really don’t want to get money this way but it can’t stop it because of the demand for villagers , “he added.
Atma Ram, another village resident said that they depended on Rajasthan because the canal on Haryana’s side was at the end of the tail and hardly supplied water 5-6 days a month.
Haryana is considered as a rich country of water but Rajasthan canal is full of all the time and serves the needs of this area.
Mohammad Mustkeem, from Kagdana Village, said considering water problems, the government Haryana in 2002 had completed a minor gigoran to supply water to these villages.
However, because of the problem of land leveling, water cannot reach these villages.
“Even though the Boosting Station has been installed near the village of Kheri, everything is still not exercising.
Drinking water is the basic requirement of every household and will only be strong politics can resolve the problem of the village water,” Mustkeem added.
Water from Tanker Air Rajasthan carries between 5,000 and 7,000 liters of water from Rajasthan and sells it to several villages of Ellenabad constituency.
Water is stored by villagers in an underground water tank called Kundang.
After that they use it for long drinking.
Almost every home, even built in a crowded area, has built this Kundang to store drinking water.
