HSC and SSC Offline Exams, theory paper in March-April

Mumbai: Higher School Certificate Certificate Exams (SSC) will be held in offline mode in March-April next year more than 35 days.
The question paper pattern will remain the same as previous years.
The teacher has asked the state to change the evaluation pattern and bring more multiple choice questions (MCQ).
Last year, the council exam was canceled because the Covid-19 pandemic and students were considered internally.
Minister of Education Varsha Gaikwad on Thursday announced the HSC and SSC written test date.
The HSC exam theory will be held from March 4 to April 7.
Practical, oral and internal assessment will be conducted from February 14 to March 3.
The theory of SSC theory will be held from March 15 to April 18.
Practical, oral and internal assessment will be conducted by schools between February 25 and March 14.
Gaikwad said that the exam would be based on the 25% syllabus reduced.
The exam will be based on theory of 80 marks and 20 mark internal assessments, projects, oral and practices.
Of the 80 Marks Making theory, around 10 values are for objective questions.
The teacher hopes for more MCQ because physical schools are reopened in October and students suffer learning losses during online classes.
Both the secondary education center and the council for inspection of Indian school certificates introduced two academic council tests.
The first board exam which includes 50% of the reduced syllabus is MCQ based.
The second arrival for March-April will likely be subjective and will include the remaining 50% curriculum.
“In a language paper, 30 values are for understanding.
Students do not have training in writing long answers,” said a 10th grade teacher.
School said even though the meeting was held to discuss the pattern of questions, no suggestions had been included.
Junior schools and colleges, welcome state decisions to announce dates.
“Students are under the impression, they will get results based on internal assessments.
Now they will be serious about the exam.
We can also go down to the preliminary exam,” said the Principal of Wadla College.
Extending the two-week exam date has gave school and college enough to prepare students.
“The HSC exam usually ends in March the first week and that’s when the SSC starts.
This year, the two examinations will be held two weeks late and it will give us time to plan,” said a principal.
Gaikwad said they hoped to declare HSC results in mid-June and SSC in the second week of July.
The detailed schedule of the exam will be released soon, he added.
