HSVP notification at an additional fee of face opposition

Written by news2in

Gurgaon: Residents around 50 group housing communities in sector 54, 55 and 56 were annoyed after receiving additional fees notices from Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP).
They said HSVP had issued ‘illegal’ notifications for recovery of costs and warned them on punishment such as termination of water lines and sewers or canceling their registry.
Residents now plan to move the Punjab High Court and Haryana against ‘arbitrary demands’.
According to them, HSVP has acquired 631 hectares in Gurgaon in 1990 with prices ranging from Rs 50,000 to 1,25,000 per acre.
In 1996, the district court increased land compensation, which was later challenged in the High Court.
In 2010, the Supreme Court revised the number to Rs 8.23,500 per Acre.
Residents said they received a notification for additional fees in February 2016, with a period of delayed period of 15% for 6,756 days with effects from July 1997, without their error.
“They have hidden facts about litigation for an increase from 1997 to 2016.
Even after several requests, HSVP has failed openly to provide answers,” said Manohar Lal Versma, Secretary General of the Ward Welfare Association.
“Citizens of suffering due to HSVP’s negligence.
Most of the flat owned by senior citizens and HSVP must provide justification of their claims,” said members of the Environmental Members 30 Mahesh Dayma.
Meanwhile, the Jitender Yadav HSVP administrator said: “The recalculation has been carried out according to the court order and the government.
We have held a series of meetings with residents during the recalculation.
People have to pay additional fees because we have to pay compensation to farmers.”
