Gurgaon: Haryana Sehri Vikash Pradikaran (HSVP) sealed the mobile tower on the roof of the housing community in sector 52 on Saturday.
The housing community that gets land from HSVP installs mobile tower, violates the terms and conditions of land disposal, according to HSVP.
According to laws, commercial activities cannot occur in housing plots.
Jitender Kumar, Officer Estate 2, HSVP, Gurgaon, said that the housing community issued a notice but failed to remove the tower installed illegally.
The notification of the show has told the housing community that it violates the terms and conditions of land disposal by installing a mobile tower on the front block terrace.
HSVP issued the first notification on October 5, and the housing community had a week to reply through their official representatives.
However, it did not submit a reply.
HSVP then fired another notification at the end of October.
On November 2, Vishal Jindal, the official representative of the community, appeared in the presence of HSVP officials and searched ten days to remove the mobile tower.
Junior Engineer Sandeep Lot said that on November 12, the housing community had not released it.
So, on November 16, HSVP issued final notice, gave them 24 hours.
In the absence of any response, HSVP decided to seal the cellphone tower.
Gurgaon has 1,177 cellphones, and exits from this, 917 installed illegally.
A total of 888 cellphones are in the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) area, where only 102 has a valid license, and 786 is installed illegally.
On the other hand, there are 289 cellular towers in the Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) sector, where only 158 has a valid license, and 131 is installed illegally.
For the installation of mobile tower, a company must take permission from Huda and MCG.
According to laws, cellphones should not be close to schools, colleges and hospitals.
The radiation level must also be within the specified limit.
