New Delhi: Huawei has expanded the smartwatch lineup with the launch of Huawei Watch D in China.
This is the first smartwatch of a company that can be used to measure blood pressure from the wrist.
Smartwatch is equipped with blood pressure and an ECG monitor.
The company also said that SmartWatch has also been registered as a class II medical device by drug administration in China.
Huawei Watch D comes with a micro air pump, airbag and does not forget blood pressure measurement technology.
The company has also included tension material in rope and curved airbags with butterfly buckles that create pressure and measure blood pressure accurately.
Along with this, it can also be equipped with an ECG monitor that claims to produce an ECG report in real time.
Huawei Watch D is present in titanium and a choice of black and is given a price of 2,988 yuan (Rs 35,305).
The device will go on sale in China starting December 25.
The company has not announced the global launch and availability of smartwatch details.
