Hubballi: A city businessman has been a victim of the latest online fraud with a cheating who deceives him Rs 32 Lakh.
The businessman from Heggeri in his complaint on Friday, stated that he received a call from a woman who posed as a representative from a leading e-commerce company.
The woman offered her franchise for the North Carnataka she received.
He got a link via SMS that took him to whatsapp.
Following instructions sent by female callers, entrepreneurs start transferring money through the application suggested by callers.
He also offered back-back offers and asked him to transfer more money to the account.
More than three days, the businessman persuaded to transfer RS 32 Lakh to franchise.
