Chandrapur: City Police have registered a violation of the Corporator-Husbands of Sanjay Kancharlawar to abuse and threaten to kill the Deputy Commissioner of the City of Vishal Wagh.
The incident occurred in the Mayor’s room Rakhi Kancharlawar immediately after Bedlam during a public body meeting on Thursday.
Wagh in his complaint had claimed that he was with the additional commissioner Vipin Paliwal was called to the Mayor’s cabin, where his husband Sanjay Kancharlawar and a group of Canestators had sat.
While the mayor gave him some instructions about meeting public bodies, Sanjay Kancharlawar suddenly began to abuse it and also threatened to kill.
Wagh then filed a written complaint with the city police station that detailed the incident and also gave the name of the witness.
Based on his complaint, violations below 186, 294 and 506 IPC were registered against the mayor’s husband, who had denied the allegations.
