Hugh Jackman has sparked speculation that he will return to action as Wolverine at Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Character fans X-Men Clawed has fused on social media about the possibility of returning actors, only two years after those who seemed to bid the goodbye to the character in the ‘Logan’ hit film.
Rumors ran wild after Jackman posted two interesting pictures on his Instagram stories, which implies his return in the upcoming Marvel film.
This actor shares Wolverine fan art by Bosslogic on his Instagram stories and follows him with an old photo of him posing with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.
The purchase of the Disney 20th century FOX has provided studio rights to the ‘X-Men’ and ‘Fantastic Four’ film franchise.
While ‘Fantastic Four’ is said to be part of the calendar of the phase 4 Marvel release, it has not been mentioned the return of ‘X-Men’.
Reports on various online portals also show that Jackman hinted to repeat his role as Wolverine, but in the film Avengers.
“Every time I see Avengers film, I can see Wolverine in the middle of them all like punching everything in the head.
But it’s like, ‘Oh well, it won’t happen,'” he said at the time, reported justjared.com.
This actor also continued by stating that while he felt that the possibility of starring in the MCU film had long passed for him, he really wanted to see the new actor taking the role of Wolverine.
If the actor will return as auction mutant, he will break his own world record for the longest career as a Superhero Marvel Live Action.
Hugh has played Wolverine for a total of 16 years 228 days, a record he shared with Sir Patrick Stewart, who has played Professor Charles Xavier for the exact number of days.
