New Delhi: Hughes Communications India, a majority subsidiary of Hughes Network Systems, and Bharti Airtel on Wednesday announced a joint venture to offer satellite broadband services in India.
The agreement, announced in May 2019, has received all legal agreements, including those from the NCLT and Telecom departments.
“With joint capabilities, customers will gain access to future generation satellite connectivity supported by proven company class security and service support,” said Ajay Chitkara, Director and CEO, Airtel business.
