Bhagalpur: Nature lovers in this city have developed ‘Butterfly Park’ to save butterflies.
He also promotes the theme, ‘Give real home, growing garden butterflies and becoming a life savior’ among nature lovers and environmental lovers.
Raja Bose, who has worked for months to develop a butterfly park, said his concern over the amount of a butterfly decline motivated it because of this initiative because the butterfly was important for the pollination of plant flowers.
Bose said pollination was one of the ecological services provided butterflies and about 90% of flowering plants and 35% of plants relied on pollination for the production of fruits / seeds.
The aim is not only aimed at conservation of various colorful butterfly varieties but also to maintain ecological balance and natural conservation in addition to promoting better fruit / seed production.
Bose said the butterfly garden on the campus has become a habitat for various lepidopterans, including butterflies, axes, moths etc.
