Lucknow: Director of the Mumbai-based real estate company submitted a case against five people because they cheated him around Rs 9.4 Crore.
The complainant accused the one who was accused, Anand Kumar Singh aka Baba Trikaldarshi, was the sand mafia.
Deepak Sharma from Malad, Mumbai, said he met Trikaldarshi from Eldeco Colony during a party in Mumbai in December 2018.
Trikaldarshi introduced himself as a miner of sand and was friends with Deepak, who was interested in sand mining.
Trikaldarshi promised to help Deepak get a sand mining contract in Banda.
In time, Trikaldarshi began to take money from Deepak but sell sand on behalf of his own aide company, Vijay PA.
When Deepak objected, they took him by gunman and threatened him during a meeting at Lucknow.
