Noting that a large number of people have lost their lives for political violence globally in the last century, he said it was very unfortunate that political violence had “still did not stop” in the country and abroad.
The event was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Minister of Houses Amit Shah and other officials.
“India has the spirit of ‘Sarvadharma Sambhav (Harmony of Religion).
Everyone has the freedom to build temples or mosques or churches.
But in many countries, such freedom is not there,” said NHRC’s head.
Approve that humans were bent by destroying humanity, he said, in the 20th century a large number of people had died of political violence globally.

Relying on this issue, imitating fundamentalism and history will never forgive us for this,” Mishra said.
Time has arrived, when “we must conflictly” and at least raise the sound of this violence, he said.
In his speech, he also stressed that “tireless efforts” Minister of Home Affairs Shah to foster a peaceful situation in Jammu and Kashmir, and northeast, has “delivered a new age”.
India has emerged as a strong entity at the global level and it has received recognition as a new force, and will be credited to people in India, the constitutional system and state leadership, he said.
NHRC worked for the past 28 years even though in many countries strong, such institutions have not been established, said the head panel.
Nearly one-sixth of the world population is in India.
India has a democratic system, and resolves every problem in a peaceful and legitimate way, he said.
Mishra said the press, the media and the media world had been given freedom in this country, which was in the obligations of constitutional tasks and human responsibilities.
