Indore: Human skulls are found in women’s passenger baggage at Indore airport on Tuesday.
Passengers, who were identified as Sadhvi Yogmata Sachdeva, told the Aerodrome police that the skull was the remnants of mortal relatives, who he would relendish Haridwar.
The Norma DGCA did not allow this, so he had to submit it to relatives and took the next flight.
“We often see strange things in passenger baggage but I will never dream I will see this,” said an official.
Sadhvi, a resident of Ujjain, is scheduled to take the Indore-Delhi Vistara plane at 8:30 a.m., airport officials said.
During luggage filtering, the staff pays attention to something strange.
“We were surprised to see the skull,” said an official.
Security personnel are notified immediately.
Aerodrome police spoke with Sadhvi, who said the skull was a relative who died in a second covid wave.
“He said he would immerse the skull on the Ganges River in Haridwar,” police said.
Airport officials rejected his request.
“Passengers are allowed to bring Mortal to remain only in hand trunk, it’s also after getting permission from the airport authority,” said an official.
