Rajkot: A 24-year-old man was arrested by Gandhidham police at Kutch for allegedly holding his abduction to squeeze Rs 25 Lakh from his father.
The man suffered losses in his business and needed money to pay debts, but the police foiled their plans and tracks it in a few hours.
According to the police, Bhikha Gehil (46), a resident of Bhavani Nagar in Gandhidham Taluka from Galpvadar Kutch filed a complaint about his son’s kidnapping on Saturday.
“Gohil had received a voice message recorded on his cellphone which asked him to pay Rsan 25 lakh ransom for his safe release from his son.
After we received a complaint, the investigation was launched.

He was taken to Gandhidham to be questioned.
