Chennai: A 28-year-old man was hacked to death by the gang of three members near Minjur on Tuesday.
The deceased, B Hemanathan from Neithavoyal Village, was a contract driver at the North Chennai Thermal Station.
He drove a two-wheeled vehicle when the trio stopped his vehicle near Jaya Nagar and attacked him with machetes.
He died in place.
Minjur police registered a case and launched a hunt for the suspects.
The initial question revealed that Hemanathan had hostility with the suspect.
