Thiruvananthapuram: A man, desirable in an attempt to kill the case of hacked to death and his leg was cut one day ago by a group of 12 attackers, four of them had been detained, police said.
The four were arrested including the three-wheeled automatic drivers used by the attackers to reach the victim’s house and then escaped from the place, said an officer of the Pothencode police station.
Proceedings of the examination were underway, the officer said.
The victim was sought in an effort to kill cases registered at the Attingal Police Station, he said, adding that the police had not found it when the incident occurred.
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon, when the attackers broke into the house where the victim was hiding and cutting his legs.
He rushed to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, but his life could not be saved, police said.
They then threw limbs on the road while running away from the area, police said.
Furthermore, on Saturday night, four of them were arrested by the police and is currently questioned at the Mangalapuram police station.
They have not been submitted to the Pothencode police station, the officer said.
Investigation for the other accused in this case, police said.
