Kolkata: A 35-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly persecuting a 21-year-old student in the car on Sunday night and also flashes it on a busy road in the city.
When he shouted with horror, local traders, bus passengers waiting at the place and the police who were on duty to run out and arrested the defendant before he could escape.
The incident was reported from the Behala Area Tram Depot between 21:30 and 9.45pm on Sunday, when the girl returned home.
The defendant, Sudhir Majhi, a resident of Behala, was later arrested at the Behala police station.

The victim immediately realized that Majhi began to follow him.
