Palghar: A 30-year-old man was arrested from Saphala in Palghar Maharashtra district for allegedly stealing a cellphone from a shop where he worked before, police said on Saturday.
As many as 34 handsets from various brands worth RS 5 Lakh recovered from the defendant identified with the help of CCTV footage, an official said.
In FIR, the shopkeeper has claimed that some cellphones were stolen from his shop between February and August 3 this year.
