Kanpur: Mahoba police arrested a man for allegedly attracting people to repent.
The person who was arrested was identified as Ashish John, a resident of Alipura in the Panwadi area from Mahaga Regency, who had tried to change several people in lieu of money.
He himself had entered Christian about twenty years ago.
The carrier of the office of several Hindu clothes reached the Panwadi police station on Saturday night and demanded tight action against the man.
The defendant had been arrested and ordered under the Section 3 and 5 of the Problem of Uttar Pradesh conversion of religion that violated the law, 2020.
