Thiruvananthapuram: City police have arrested a man who allegedly killed his father-in-law’s father and brother-in-law for domestic disputes here on Tuesday.
Arun, 31, from Rajiv Gandhi Lane, Kallummood near Muttathara was the defendant.
His arrest was recorded at the Poojapura police station.
He was accused of killing Sunilkumar, 48, from Anitha Bhavan in Youngavanmugal and his son Akhil, 24.
The alleged murder took place on Tuesday night at around 8:55 a.m.
The defendant appeared at the rented house of the victims with a knife and took a fight with them.
In riot, he stabbed the two of them using a knife.
Police said that Arun was the husband of Sunilkumar Aparna’s daughter.
He is an alcoholic who is often used physically Aparna harassment.
He had left him a few moments ago for the same reason and began living with his own family again.
He also brought their one year old child with him.
On Tuesday night, Arun visited him in an effort to convince him to move with him again.
But when he refused, he tried to use strength, where Sunilkumar and Akhil would interse.
He stabbed Akhil first.
When Sunilkumar tried to save his son, Arun also stabbed his father-in-law.
The police have produced Arun before the local judge on Wednesday after he was returned in the custody of the judiciary.
Police said Sunilkumar was a headload worker by the profession.
Sheena is his wife.
Akhil is also a daily wage worker who takes a painting job and pushes automatic pedicab to make a living.
