Thiruvananthapuram: Cybercrime Police here on Wednesday arrested a 29-year-old man who blackmailed a 15-year-old girl using his personal picture.
The police identified the defendant as Mahesh from Aruvikkara.
The police said the defendant lured the girl through social media applications and convinced him to share his personal images.
He also made him make nude video calls and recording it.
Then, he began to squeeze it using the picture and video.
The victim approached the local police and the city police commissioner transferred this case to the Cybercrime City Police Station which launched the probe.
