New Delhi: A 26-year-old man has been arrested in Delhi for allegedly stabbing a 37-year-old woman to death with a pair of scissors, police said on Monday.
Chand accused of Alam Okhla Phase-1 was arrested on Sunday, the day after he killed Jharna victims after a dispute, they said.
According to the police, they found a woman’s body on Sunday morning, and the call detail note showed her with a friend, nature, the night before.
Nature was then arrested from Indira Kalyan Vihar, Okhla, said a senior police officer.
During the interrogation, the defendant revealed that he began working in an export company at Pul Prahladpur in 2015 where he had come into contact with his colleague Jharna.
They become friends and start spending each other.
He also accustomed to paying him 6,000 per month when the woman was suspected of demanding money from him, the officer said.
In February, the defendant learned that Jharna was also friends with other people, Suraj.
They fought with this and he stopped paying for him, police said.
But he was upset on this and came up with a plan to kill him, they said.
On Saturday, nature met with the victim at the Badarpur bus stop and took him to the quarter left near the railway in Tehkhand, Okhla, police said.
The argument happened and the defendant took a pair of scissors from Jharna’s bag and stabbed him on the neck, they said.
He covered the body with a plastic bag and broke his cellphone.
He threw the scissors and clothes stained in blood in the disposal, police said.
The police have restored them and the victim’s cellphone, they added.
The woman was married and had two children.
The defendant also married, police said.
