Humans Assam lost 4 years of return from Bangladesh prison

Guwahati: A 40-year-old man who was missing from the Darrang District Assam in 2017 and then traced to Prison Feni Bangladesh, finally returned to the country after four years.
However, the police have not confirmed how Mukul Hazarika ended in a prison in a neighboring country, where he was submitted since 2019.
On Monday, Bangladesh’s border guards handed it to the border security force by Belonia’s checkpoint in Tripura along with the Indo-Bangladesh border.
Darrang Police Inspector Sushanta Biswa Sarma said, “Two years after he was lost, the authority of Bangladesh told their Indian partners that Hazarika languished in Feni prison.
We still don’t know how he reaches Bangladesh and arrested there.” SP, who took the initiative to bring him Back to the country, said the Government Assam wrote a letter to the Bangladesh authorities in July this year, asked them to start steps to restore Hazarika.
“The police team senior official and father, Phueswar Hazarika, accepted it in Belonia on Monday.
He is now in Tripura and will be taken to Guwahati on Tuesday,” SP said.
Meanwhile, Phueswar thanked SP to take steps to bring his son back.
“We patiently wait back.
Four years this is very difficult to spend without it.”
