Patna: A 65-year-old drunk man chewed a snake after biting it in the Bihar Nalanda district.
The man was identified as Rama Mahto, a resident of Madhodeh Village under the Chandi Police Station.
The incident took place on Sunday and he died on Monday morning.
The family who died told the police that Rama Mahto, who was under the influence of liquor, was sitting in front of his house when the baby snake (karait) bite him on his feet.
Mahto managed to catch a snake and chew it with an offer to take revenge.
“While chewing the baby snake, Mahanato was bitten more than 10 times on his face.” After that he took a snake and put it on the nearest tree.
We asked him to go to the hospital for care but he refused and went to bed.
“Mahto claims that it is a baby snake and it won’t be poisonous.
He was found dead on Monday morning,” said Bhuson Prasad, President Madhodeh Panchayat Samiti.

Another drunken man was arrested by police Aurangabad for killing a goat in Kurwa Village.
Ghoh police arrested him on Monday.
In complaints, Shakuntala goat owners Devi accused that someone named Mahendra Das twisted his goat’s neck.
