Shimla: A burned man alive in a broken fire at his residence in the Shimla district, said a state disaster management official on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Rajdev.
His house, located in Khoptwari Village in Chirgaon Tehsil from Rohru Sub-Division, was dismissed on Saturday night, the official said, adding that the cause of the fire was not confirmed.
According to the emergency operation center of Shimla, the house was fully damaged by the estimated loss of Rs 10 Lakh.
The Shimla District Administration handed over immediately RS 20,000 assistance to Rajdev family members.
