VIUDHUNAGAR: A man died in place when the truck ran on it when he sat in front of a shop in Rajapalayam in Virudhunagar from Tamil Nadu on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Marimuthu, 37, who works as Loadman.
Marimuthu was sitting in front of a sweet kiosk in Rajapalayam-Tenkasi Road.
An overspeeding truck driven by Kamaraj, 34, collided with other trucks coming from the opposite direction.
Furthermore, the truck driven by Kamaraj ran in Marimuthu.
Police Rajapallayam South registered the case and arrested Kamaraj.
