Kanpur: A man, repeatedly from Ferozepur in Punjab allegedly hanging himself to death in a hotel located in a rail bazaar area on Monday night.
The police said that the man’s body was found depending on the ceiling fan.
In hotel staff information, police and forensic team rushed to the place and sent the body to post-mortem checks after the initial investigation.
The police also recover suicide notes from the place.
“In the suicide record recovered from the pocket of the victim, it was written that he was fed up with torture by an officer and the Cantonment board officer”, police said.
According to Ratnesh Singh, Inspector Rail Bazar Station, Amardeep Singh, who had died Amardeep Singh (48) was an IV class employee at the Ferozepur Cantonment Board.

102 of a hotel in Lucknow since December 1, said the inspector.
“On Monday morning, when the manager asked him to deposit room rent, Amardeup convinced him to deposit the same at night.
But when he failed to make a payment at night, the manager called him on his cellphone, but was found deadly.
Then he sent an employee to check the room but After repeating the knock, the employee did not receive a response.
The manager then told the police.
They reached the place, broke the door and found Amardeop’s body hanging from the ceiling fan, “police officers said.
Inspector Ratnesh Singh said the suicide note was found where he was written that he took extreme steps because he tortured by an officer and the Cantt Ferozepur board officer.
“The male family member was told,” Inspector added.
