Hyderabad: A 30-year-old car driver was sentenced to a hard prison to be suicide for a 20-year-old woman in 2016 with sexually harassing it.
Defendant, Piyush Jain – a resident of Nagar Day at Musheerabad – has harassed a 20-year-old child who set himself as a result.
“The woman shifted to Gandhi’s hospital and gave up to burn while undergoing treatment.
In a dying declaration, she stated that sexual harassment by Piyush was the reason behind her extreme steps,” said an investigative officer, S surender.
The Nampally court punished Piyush under the part of the IPC 306, 354-A and 506, sentenced him to a 10-year sentence and a fine of RS 35,000.
