Ghaziabad: Special Pocso Court on Tuesday sentenced seven years in prison for identifying a seven-year-old boy in the Gerbang Sihani area in 2015.
The court also imposed a fine in prisoners.
Special Public Prosecutor (ACT Pocso) Satish Sharma said convicted, a worker, had lured the little boy, who lived in his neighborhood, becoming a field and sexually attacked him.
In a minor family complaint, the FIR was listed under the IPC part 377 (unnatural violations) and the relevant part of the Pocso Law, after the man was arrested and has since been submitted in prison.
On Tuesday, Special Judges (Pocso) Ishwar Singh sentenced the defendant based on the evidence and reports of witnesses.
While the time spent in prison will be deducted from the last sentence, Sharma said that in prisoners failed to pay a fine, he had to undergo an additional three-month prison.
