Thane: The District Court has sentenced a 21-year-old man who was seven years old in prison to rape a little girl in the city of Thane Maharashtra.
Additional Session Judges and Special Judges (Pocso) V V V V Virkar on Thursday found the defendant guilty of allegations under the section 363 (kidnapping), 376 (rape) and other provisions of the IPC and protection of children from sexual violations (Pocso).
The court also imposed a fine of RS 8,000 to the defendant.
According to prosecution, the 16-year-old victim lived in the same area as the Defendant at Yashswwi Nagar of Balkum.
