City: The Pocso Court in Bundi has sentenced a marriage of a man for up to 20 years to rape a 15-year-old girl and slapped the RS 35,000 penalty in the inmates, Mahafwal Mahafwal Public Prosecutor (SPP) said on Friday.
He said the court on Thursday afternoon Chothamal Bheel (25) from the city of Sumerganjmandi was under the Indergarh police station from Bundi Regency, up to 20 years in prison for raping his neighbor’s little girl in November 2019.
Minor submitted a rape case against Bheel on November 7, 2019.
He Alleged that he raped him with a threat to live at night when he slept alone in his room because his parents were in a side by side, SPP said.
He said he stated in a report that Bheel entered his room from the roof, strangling him with a piece of cloth and took him to the next room where he raped him.
He said he finally managed to release the cloth in his mouth and shouted after his parents rushed to the room; However, Bheel fled.
The police submitted a rape case under various parts of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) and the protection of children from the actions of sexual violations (Pocso).
SPP said the police, took part in the initial investigation and medical examination of the minor, arrested Bheel and sent a court sheet in court against him, but he was released with a guarantee.
Judge Pocso Court-2 Arun Kumar Jain on Thursday afternoon was held by Bheel guilty of rape under the age of the IPC and Pocso acted and sentenced him to a sentence of 20 years.
The convicts were then sent to prison, Meghwal said, adding that the statement of 9 witnesses was recorded and 16 documents produced before the court during the trial.
