Madikeri: The Virajpet court has sentenced a man for up to 20 years in prison for raping a little girl.
Bolka, 37, workers who worked at a plantation in Kolthodu Baigodu near Virajpet, had raped the girl, daughter of workers.
After being released from grade 6, the girl lived with her mother (single parent) at the line house.
In 2018, Bolaka entered the girl’s house during the day – when her mother went to work – and harassed her sexually for several days.
After paying attention to the changing appearance / behavior of his daughter, the woman asked her if something was wrong.
The girl tells the trial, after that the woman complained to Virajpet’s rural police.
District and Second Additional Court Session (Virajpet) Judge S R Dindalkopp said the assessment after hearing the case.
He has sentenced Bolka under various parts.
Of the total Rs 90,000, Rs 80,000 must be paid to the victim.
