Kolhapur: The local court in Kolhapur Maharashtra on Thursday gave a death sentence to a 35-year-old man, who was convicted of killing his mother, dismantling his body and removing his organs.
The district and Judge Mahesh Jadhav considered the rare case of a rare and awarded capital punishment to Sunil Kuchikorvi, who after killing his 62-year-old mother, tearing his body opened and released all his organs.
According to prosecution, it was alleged to be an act of cannibalism, such as when the defendant was arrested, his mother’s organs were found on the kitchen platform with salt, oil and chili powder, and there was blood in his mouth.
The Public Prosecutor Vivek Shukla said the incident had occurred on August 28, 2017, at Makadwala Vasawat in Kolhapur City.
“Kuchikornvi is a drunkard.
On the day, he had asked for some money to buy liquor, and when he refused him, he hacked him to death using a sharp weapon.
The accusation then tore the right side of his body.
And removed the heart, kidneys, intestines And another organs and put it on the kitchen platform, “Shukla said.
At least 12 witnesses were examined, and because there were no eyewitnesses, the court held a cochikorvi guilty on the basis of direct evidence, he said.
Taking into account this rare case, the defendant was sentenced to death, added Shukla.
