Mangaluru: Special Judges from the Pocso Fast Trace Court in the Additional Udupi District and Court Session have sentenced a man to serve a prison sentence to rape his little daughter in 2020.
Judge Yermal Kalpana also directed the people who were punished to pay Rs 20,000 as well Just an additional penalty of RS 5,000 to make the threat of death for the girl.
The government has been directed at paying RS 5 Lakh’s compensation to the victim.
This case was reported at the Udupi Women’s Police Station in May last year.
The 41-year-old accusation has raped his 14-year-old daughter when his wife and son left.
He also threatened to kill him if he revealed the incident to anyone.
The girl told her mother about the incident with the help of a neighbor.
Mother filed a complaint with the police and the man was arrested.
The victim’s statement, his mother and neighbor helped prove the accusation.
The Prosecutor’s Prosecutor Y T Raghavendra appears for prosecution.
