Gondia: A man was sentenced to life imprisonment at the Gondia in Maharashtra for raping his mother under the influence of liquor in August last year.
The main district and Judge Shabbir’s session Ahmed Auti ordered that the man was imprisoned because of the rest of the natural life, along with a fine of Rs 2,000 and compensated Rs 2 lakh for victims.
The case was examined by the police station Rawavadi, said an official, added that the evidence was examined in court on January 19, the defendant’s statement was recorded on January 24 and the last hearing was held on January 31.
