Yamunanagar: A man and his daughter was found dead on the railroad near the Kushtha Ashram Yamunanagar area.
The deceased was identified as Dilshad (40) from Azad Nagar Colony and his daughter Sahroon (19).
When receiving the information, the Government Train Police (GRP) from Yamunanagar, the Jagadhri police station reached the place and brought the corpse to be investigated.
GRP Investigation Assistant Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Baljit Singh said Sahroon suffered a fever for several days and his father Dilshad took him to a private doctor for medicine on Wednesday night.
“Both of them did not return home and then at night, their bodies were found lying on the railroad track near Kushtha Ashram.
Both were identified from the contact number of the Dilshad’s wife who was found written on the slip in his wallet”, said Baljit ASI.
“The Dilshad’s wife was called suspicious that they might commit suicide.
It seems to be a suicide case according to our investigation too.
We have done the process under the part 174 CRPC.

From the two deceased was handed over to their family members “, said Baljit ASI.
“Dilshad lives with his daughter and his wife who now has four children who have given a divorce to his first husband.
Then the woman married Dilshad and lived with him in Yamunanagar”, said Baljit ASI.
The source said that Dilshad can take extreme steps due to poor financial conditions.
