Ahmedabad: A man killed his girlfriend at his residence in the community of Gayatri Dham and then committed suicide by slitting his own throat, in Ramol on Tuesday.
The police registered a murder case and entered without permission against the man.
Complaints registered by Ajay Panchal, 34, who stated that he met Vanraj Sindha, a CTM resident who worked in a plastic factory in Mahadev Estate.
Panchal said he asked Sindha to help him get a job for his wife, Bhumika.
Vanraj then often visited his residence and met his wife about his work.
About 30 days ago, he woke up at night and saw his wife Bhumika with Sindha.
He told his in-laws about Bhumika’s violations and they intervened, and forbade him from the association with Sindha.
Panchal also told Sindha to stay away from his wife, and for 30 days Sindha did not come to his house.
On Tuesday morning, when Panchal and his mother went to a temple, he received a call from his neighbor who told him that Sindha was inside his house and had locked it.
Panchal stated that when he got home, he found his wife in a pool of blood and Sindha also lying there in the blood.
He stated that both were taken to the hospital where Bhumika was declared dead and Sindha died later during treatment.
The complainant stated his grandmother told him that Sindha had an argument heated with Bhumika, after which he stabbed him several times.
Sindha then encouraged her grandmother, which furrowed in fear, and then slit her her own throat.
