Kanpur: The technology saved the house from being stolen when a resident of Kanpur, who was in New Jersey, USA, told the local police after watching the CCTV footage directly from his noise at his residence in the Shyamnagar area on Monday night.
Responding to the call, the police rushed to the house when the thief was still inside.
When the police tried to zero, the intruders opened fire.
In retaliation was released by the police, a wounded noise and was arrested while the others fled.
It was around midnight on Monday when Vijay Awasthi, 38, a software engineer in New Jersey, received a warning on his cellphone.
The signal was from a CCTV camera and the sensor he had installed at his ancestral home in D-Block, Shyamnagar under the Chakei police station, to save his house from a thief.
When he checked the tape, Vijay was surprised to find several intruders in his house named Harihar Dham.
“He saw a service try to break the key to a room.
Vijay used MIC options to warn the intruders.
But the warning did not have an impact on them.
Instead they broke CCTV cameras,” police said.
Vijay then immediately called her neighbor in Shyamnagar, who told the police control room.
The local police patrol team reached the site within five minutes, said the Chake Police Office Inspector, Madhur Mishra.
